  Absolute dream of a holiday. Best staff, great views. Nestled into the bush, very romantic. Met so many staff in which I call family, they made me and my fiancé felt like we were home, they looked after us as if we were royalty. This is one of my favourite

  Loved this local getaway! We stayed in Little Haven, the views are incredible and they really thought of everything, from a braai dish to packing a fire ahead of our arrival. Our chalet was spotless and well prepared for our stay. Excellent service would definitely recommend to all who are on the lookout for a minimal signal, gorgeous view, tranquil feel escape!

  Thabela Thabang is an absolute dream. Nestled away in the North West, a mere one and half drive from Johannesburg. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature.

From the moment I arrived at reception, I was receiver with such warm hospitality from Jack.

I stayed at Eagle’s Nest Chalet and the moment I stepped in the place it surpassed all my expectations. Pictures do not do the place justice.

The interior is absolutely stunning and the views are breathtaking. You can hear the sound of the mountain stream from the balcony and the beautiful birds chirping.

It’s a beautiful place for trail running and hiking. Such a beautiful archaeological adventure. I’m definitely going back to this hood gem that feels like heaven on earth.

  What a beautiful place to relax & simply immerse yourself in nature. As a solo traveler I appreciated the attention given to the rooms, safety, attention from staff and response to my whattsapp messages during my hike. The sounds of the baboons in the morning & the waterfall is priceless
Rooms: beautiful and modern. Rates are per person & not per unit which is a win for a solo traveler.
Service: excellent, all round. Wish they had a fully operational restaurant but I came prepared & was able to still enjoy a cold one at the teagarden.
Hike: Domeview trail hits hard, it is steep but the feeling of conquering that mountain & steep hill is beyond awesome. Then you cruise around the other attractions, the hike is enough to occupy you a whole day. More signage would help for people who are directionally challenged like me but still succeeded in being found.
Location: awesome for those who want to cut off as there's no TV, kids might find it difficult if they are used to gadgets.
